Hola Town

For teachers and tutors

Homework your students actually finish

A 5–8 minute 3D game mission instead of a worksheet. Your students walk around a small town and use the grammar from your lesson with the people who live there.

We are taking 15 teachers and tutors. Free, no card, no student accounts.

How it works

  1. 1 Pick a topic

Countable nouns, in/on/at, present perfect: each homework is one grammar point you already teach.

  2. 2 Send the link

One link in the class chat, your LMS or on the board. It opens in any browser, nothing to install.

  3. 3 Get the proof

The student plays and sends you the “Homework done” card: name, score, date and a check code.

The homework catalog

English grammar for A1 to B1. Each mission takes 5 to 8 minutes and shows which coursebook unit it goes with.

Missions for your coursebook

Tell us which book you teach from and which units are next. We build homework missions that practise the same grammar and words, so you can say “after Unit 4, play this”. The first book we mapped is Life Vision Elementary (Oxford).

Questions from teachers

Is it really free?

Yes. The pilot is free for 15 teachers and tutors and their students. No card, no trial that turns into a bill.

Do students need accounts or an app?

No. They open the link in a browser on a phone, tablet, laptop or Chromebook and play. We do not ask students for names or emails.

How do I check that the homework is done?

At the end of each mission the game shows a “Homework done” card with the student’s name, the topic, the score, the date and a check code, plus the mistakes to review. Students send you a screenshot, like a photo of a finished worksheet.

Can you make missions for my coursebook?

Yes, that is what the pilot is for. Tell us the book and the units in the form, and we build missions that practise the same grammar and vocabulary. We write our own dialogues and never copy the book’s exercises.

Which levels and topics are there?

English grammar from A1 to B1: countable and uncountable nouns, the prepositions in, on and at, present perfect vs past simple. Each one notes the Life Vision Elementary unit it goes with. More topics come every few weeks, and pilot teachers choose which.

What language are the game menus in?

The English missions have menus in Spanish, so they suit Spanish-speaking students best today. Everything students say and hear in the mission is English.

I teach Spanish. Can I use it?

Yes. Chapter 1 has six Spanish missions for A0–A1 learners (ordering in a café, shopping at the market, taking the bus). Pick “Spanish” in the form.

Is there a teacher dashboard?

Not yet. For the pilot the screenshot is the proof. We are building class reports with pilot teachers, so your feedback decides what comes next.
